Pretend that you are walking through the woods one day when you stumble across an object. The object is something that you have never seen before. The object is also 10 feet away from what looks like a flying saucer. As a young adventurous scientist it is your task to find out if this object is alive or not.
-You need to create a plan for how to test if the object is living or not living. Your plan should have at least one test you can preform on it for each of the 6 characteristics of life. The tests could use any tools that could be used in a science lab and also not destroy the object.
-You must include all six characteristics of life in your writing.
-You must also describe in detail what the object is like. (size, shape, color, and other physical or chemical properties)
- Make a rough sketch of what the object looks like using a pencil and a piece of paper.
-All writing must be in COMPLETE SENTENCES, use proper grammar, and punctuation. You will be writing a rough draft on paper first. In the rough draft underling or circle the characteristics of life when you mention them. It must have all 6.
