Your job this week is to make a skit with a group that explains some of the issues and gives ideas on how people could help.
Climate Change Skit
You will be writing and acting in a skit with a group of classmates. You may make your skit about anything that includes information about the following topics:
Glaciers ---Corals---Global Warming/Global Climate Change---Deforestation---Burning Fossil Fuels---Alternative Energy Sources---“Going Green” (Solutions or things you can do to decrease the levels of Carbon in our atmosphere) –Leaving a ‘carbon footprint’
1. Everyone must have a part or a role in the skit and have at least a couple of lines to say.
2. You must include at least 5 facts about the topic you chose.
3. Must be written in play format, like the example shown.
Narrator: The bell just rang at 2:30 and the teachers at Hiatt are standing around in the halls after school visiting about their lessons.
Mr. Burns: I really think the 6th graders will do a great job making skits.
Mrs. Windsor: Me too! This class is so smart and creative.

5. Be sure that we can hear you and that it’s organized, rehearsed and creative.
6. You MAY use props, but it’s not required.
